About the AEECLSS Bookstore:
The AÉÉCLSS Bookstore @ UOttawa is the only student-owned and operated law school bookstore in the country. (See the main website at www.aeeclss.org for other useful student information)
We supply both English and French Common Law students with most course materials such as case books, text books and legislation.
The bookstore also sells study aids such as legal dictionaries and supplementary materials.
We run as a cost/expense recovery store. We buy directly from various publishers at reduced prices, and pass the savings as much as possible to students.
Keep in mind that text books in general are expensive, and law text books are in a league of their own – you might not get over the sticker shock, but you’ll get used to it. Welcome to law school.
As a non-profit business, any proceeds go toward reducing the price of books for the following term, and/or may be used to fund other student activities.
